A proud Raleigh native, Professor Suggs is a basketball educator and player development specialist with experience as a former professional player and collegiate standout. As a 5-year collegiate starter with 4x All-Conference, 1x All-State, 1x Conference Championship, and 1x Defensive MVP honors, he understands the game from every angle.

Through his extensive playing background spanning 20 years of experience, the game is second nature to him from all aspects. His coaching focuses on educating athletes in discipline, communication, accountability, resilience, and the ability to encourage others. He holds players to a consistent standard while building trust through mentorship and encouragement.

Currently serving as the Varsity Men's Basketball Coach at Broughton High School, Coach Suggs has developed 30+ college athletes and trained over 250 youth through professional players. His mission is simple: educate the game and lifestyle principles that will develop better players and more importantly, better people.

Suggs' coaching philosophy centers around holistic player development, focusing not only on technical skills but also on leadership, teamwork, and mental toughness. His personalized approach ensures that each player receives individualized attention and tailored guidance to maximize their potential.
